Arequipa Climbing / Climbing Misti 5,820m./ Coropuna Chachani climb

El Misti is an active and very symmetrical volcano located over the white city of Arequipa (2380 meters), the second largest city in Peru. This area was an important settlement area since before the Inca.

Arequipa is surrounded by high volcanoes that offer good opportunities for mountaineering. Chachani at 6,057m. has routes suitable for both well and less experienced climbers. There is a base camp at 5.000 meters. Misti at 5,820 meters high volcano offer equally great views, and is more suitable for beginners. In general one needs two days to make it to the top, for that reason a tent, etc. are necessary.

This climbing we can combine with Titicaca Lake ( Puno ) Machu Picchu Trek ( Cuzco ) or Pequeño Alpamayo Climbing ( Bolivia )

Day 01.- Arrival to Lima Transfer to Hotel

Day 02.- Lima flight to Arequipa ( afternoon tours )

Day 04.- Arequipa – drive to chiguata – Base Camp

Day 05.- Base Camp – Summit 5,820m. – Arequipa

Day 06.- Arequipa Lima
